About this deal

FIrst of all when you installed your driver from the CD, it might happen that your displayport does not give you signal, nor HDMI.

This setting allows you to add input lag to the game in 1 frame increments, useful when used with a control monitor that features low input lag. It has a wider gamut than the sRGB (mainly in the cyan-green range of colors) and is widely used in professional printing. Add in BenQ's own Blur Reduction technology and you can nearly eliminate all screen lag for an improved overall gaming experience. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. The Display Mode button lets you chose one of nine screen sizes, including Full, Aspect, 1:1, and six presets ranging from 17 to 23 inches. I absolutely love the fact that BenQ designed a groove into the monitor’s stand to properly seat the S-Switch, preventing it from lingering around your desk if you’re picky about keeping things neat.

As a result, BenQ has incorporated both Low Blue Light and ZeroFlicker technologies right into the display. I reinstalled Left 4 Dead 2 from Steam for something I knew would give me all of the frames in the world to really test out the performance; and sure enough it is one smooth experience. The XL2430T also includes a redesigned S-Switch, which was one of my favorite features of the previous XL2720Z gaming monitor that I reviewed. After applying the ICC profile, the color temperature measured 6495 K, just 5 points shy from the standard 6500 K.Points were deducted for the overly bright gamma and luminance uniformity, but every other test revealed an excellent monitor, on par with IPS-style displays in many areas. The XL2430T isn't exactly a power hog, but it doesn't offer an Eco power-saving mode like the BenQ XL2420G. The key takeaway here is that the graphics card and monitor are both synced up to one another - the monitor doesn't have the limitations imposed by a rigid, fixed-rate scanning routine. The BenQ XL2430T is rock-solid gaming monitor equipped with a wealth of connectivity ports, a fast pixel response, and a slick-looking ergonomic stand that lets you maneuver the panel for maximum comfort and ideal viewing position.

There are many various interfaces under the VESA standard, which differ in the size of the brackets, the distances between the screw holes and their number. upstream port, and a port for the S-Switch share space with the video inputs at the rear of the cabinet, and there are two USB 3.

While excellent in keeping response times and input lag very low, one of the biggest drawbacks of the technology is darkening of the screen when viewed at various angles. The 34 inch screen was excellent, don't get me wrong, and I use it still for work and music creation/editing however I wanted the 144hz and these provide it.

The XL2720Z has it built-in, though you can’t adjust the pulse width without a special utility from BlurBusters. The ‘Game Mode Loader’ allows you to load settings into the preset and can be used for your games later on. Monitor has a quick switch device(the remote control looking thing on the stand) so you can toggle between 3 different calibrations instantly. Over the next two pages, you’ll see what that means on both the outside and the inside of the XL2430T. Information about the available connectivity ports, slots and interfaces such as USB, infrared port, SD card slot, audio/video and network interfaces, etc.The 1,920-by-1080 TN panel has a non-reflective, anti-glare coating and is framed by half-inch bezels. There’s a bit of colour shift at extreme angles, but otherwise things are quite good; you can certainly sit off-angle and still have a good-looking display.
